Abstract
Based on the present semi-empirical model of numerically predicting aerodynamic noise from wind turbine, effects of several important parameters on aerodynamic noise from wind turbine are studied in the paper. To better simulate vortex-shedding noise near the tip of blade, tip loss correction is added in the present semimodel at the domain of blade tip. Using the noise predicting model developed in the paper, four different important parameters including blade airfoil, tip pitch angle, rotor angular speed and tail edge bluntness are mainly discussed in the paper, where the pattern of noise level with the frequency and Aweighted total sound power level and sound pressure level are also analyzed in detail. These influential patterns of the different aerodynamic parameters can provide technical references for the design and manufacture of low noise wind turbine, which helps to the study on the reduction of aerodynamic noise from wind turbine.
