Abstract
The subsonic, transonic and supersonic flow fields are simulated for a canard missile by solving the 3-D, compressible N-S equations. The capability of the canard missile is mainly restricted by rolling control characteristics. The lateral jet interaction field structure is obtained by numerical simulation. Comparison of CFD results with experiment date shows that the numerical method is accurate and stable in lateral jet interaction field simulation. Then the research of lateral jet interaction for rolling control of the canard missile is simulated, it shows that the rolling control characteristics of the canard missile can be improved by lateral jet.
