Applications of fluorescence-oil-flow visualization technique in hypersonic wind tunnel test

  • The parameters of key components in fluorescence-oil-flow system were analyzed by applying the fluorescence-oil-flow visualization technique in Φ1m hypersonic wind tunnel of China Aerodynamics Research and Development Center (CARDC). A ground debugging test platform was built, the contradistinctive tests were conducted with respect to different colors and types of fluorescent tracers. A credible fluorescence tracer dose was filtrated to produce the fluorescence oil film. The quantificational visualization technique was studied for the fluorescence-oil-flow image. Results show that this technique is capable of extracting the thickness information of fluorescence oil films by dealing with fluorescence signals.
