Numerical study for complex multi-scale flow with shock, vortex and sound wave

  • In this paper, we give a brief review to our study on the numerical scheme for shock associated noise, as well as the direct numerical simulation on the interaction between two vortices, a shock interacting with one or more vortices, the interaction of a shock and a shear layer, and a supersonic jet noise. The goal of our study is to reveal the mechanisms of sound generation.
