Abstract
Gaseous large-flux high-pressure reducing valve is the core equipment of the large continuous hypersonic test system. Its gas pressure reducing supply capacity, working stability and reliability have a significant impact on the test capacity of the hypersonic test system. This paper first introduces the principle, technical routine, evaluation index and technical difficulties of pressure-reducing valves for large-flow-rate and high-pressure gas. Second, the development and application of such pressure-reducing valves in the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) in the past 15 years are summarized, with particular attention paid to the 35 MPa, 100 kg/s pressure-reducing valve developed by NUDT. At last, the application of these valves in complex working conditions, such as large decompression ratios and a wide range of inlet pressure-ratio variation, as well as the future development trend of pressure-reducing valves in hypersonic test systems, are prospected.
