Abstract
In this paper, the effects of powered of civil aircraft with turbofan engine were studied numerically by solving the Navier Stokes equations based on mixed grids. The boundary conditions of fan inlet as well as jet exhaust were explained in detail. The DLR F4 and the TPS model were simulated, the results indicated that the program used here was reliable. Finally, this program was applied to a typical civil aircraft, the effects of powered turbo fan engine for the surface pressure coefficients on the wing was analysed. The result indicated that the numerical method for the powered effects simulation is very valuable in the aircraft design.
