Abstract
The flow field obtained by using Temporal Direct Numerical Simulation for fully developed turbulent flow can be used as the inflow of Spatial Direct Numerical Simulation with a proper transformation. This method is applied to simulate the turbulence generator by introducing turbulent disturbance at the inlet, and the effects of the adding position and the disturbance amplitude are analyzed to study the possibility of bypass transition on the lower surface of a hypersonic flight vehicle with three compression corners. The results show that, it is likely possible to lead bypass transition in the first, second and third ramp under certain conditions.
