Investigation on two dimensional shock wave focusing

In order to investigate twodimensional shock wave focusing characteristics, an experimental study of two dimensional shock wave focusing was carried out on a two dimensional shock wave focusing device, and a relevant numerical simulation was also done. Effects of the jet width and pressure on airflow oscillation frequency were acquired. An increased jet intensity led to an increased shock wave focusing intensity, and thus an increased pressure fluctuation and also an increased oscillation frequency. The simulation results were consistent with the experimental results.
