A highly-efficient predetermined boundary moving-embedded grid method suitable for the rotor CFD calculation

  • 摘要: 通过引入新的预定边界嵌套策略,并结合提出的"逆向边界"和"Local Direct-Map"(LDP)技术,建立了一套预定边界嵌套网格方法。"逆向边界"通过预估计算对边界进行动态调整克服了透视图方法很难明确避开流动非线性区的缺点;LDP方法解决了传统的基于Inverse-map透视图嵌套方法中分辨率与计算效率矛盾的问题。对不同操纵特性下相同嵌套网格的洞边界分布特性进行检验,结果表明预定边界嵌套方法保持了高鲁棒性并且嵌套效率提高了16.7倍。为进一步验证对非线性流场模拟的有效性以及对旋翼复杂运动的适应性,建立了一套适用于旋翼非定常流场计算的可压雷诺平均N-S方程数值模拟方法,分别对悬停和前飞状态下的C-T旋翼和UH-60A旋翼进行了数值分析。模拟结果与试验值吻合较好,表明了预定边界嵌套网格方法能够有效地用于旋翼非定常流场和气动特性的数值模拟分析。
    Abstract: The high-efficiency and high-accuracy of the information translation are the basis and guarantee of the unsteady CFD simulation of flowfield around the rotor. In this paper, a set of predetermined boundary embedded grid method has established by combing a new predetermined boundary embedded strategy with the proposed "Reverse Boundary" (RB) and "Local Direct-Map" (LDP) technology. RB method which is dynamically adjusted to avoid nonlinear area through pre-estimation hole boundary overcomes the disadvantages of Top-Map method. The LDP method overcomes the contradictory problem of Inverse-map resolution and computation efficiency of the traditional Top-Map embedding method with Inverse-map. The distribution of boundary hole and embedded time under different handling characteristics are numerically tested, it is demonstrated that the predetermined boundary embedded method proposed in the paper is more robust and can be 16.7 times as efficient as the traditional Top-Map embedding method. In order to further verify the validity of the simulation method for predicting the nonlinear flowfield of rotor with complex motions, a method suitable for the calculation of helicopter rotor flowfield based on compressible Reynolds averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) is established. The Caradonna-Tung and UH-60A rotor in the hover and forward flight are numerically simulated, calculated results agree well with experimental data, it is concluded that the predetermined boundary embedded grid method can be used for the numerical simulation of high-performance rotor efficiently.
