空气动力分析中动网格技术的数值阻尼

Numerical damping of dynamic mesh for aerodynamic analysis

  • 摘要: 利用FLUENT进行空气动力分析,并采用常加速度Newmark法计算物体运动参数时,动网格宏模块由于数据传递方式的限制,修改了常加速度Newmark法的原有算法,动网格宏模块的软件算法其有效性存在质疑。针对以上问题,首先给出数值算例以显示软件算法的缺陷特征,提出软件算法会引入数值阻尼的假定,而后通过数学手段证明数值阻尼的存在,并给出数值阻尼的理论计算公式。之后,给出算例,得出算例的数值阻尼,并利用数值阻尼修正软件算法,同时验证理论公式的有效性。最后给出文章理论的工程应用。

     

    Abstract: In order to carry out aerodynamic analysis with the FLUENT software and constant averaged acceleration Newmark method on dynamic mesh, the algorithm in the Newmark method needs to be changed due to the limitation of the data transfer mode. For the validation of this modification, numerical tests were simulated to show the deficiency in the algorithm. Based on these tests, we propose a hypothesis that numerical damping is introduced by the algorithm. This assumption was proved by mathematics method, and theoretical formula was provided to calculate the numerical damping. The effectiveness of this formula was validated by calculating numerical dumping in a test and calibrating the algorithm with the calculated numerical dumping. Moreover, this formula was applied to some engineering applications.
