小型冰风洞液滴平均容积直径测量研究

Investigation on medium volume diameter in a small icing wind tunnel

  • 摘要: 水滴平均容积直径(MVD)是冰风洞最基础和最重要的参数之一,MVD测量的准确程度将影响飞行器结冰特性研究。针对小型冰风洞液滴参数测量,提出使用激光粒度仪对冰风洞液滴颗粒直径进行测量,同时采用基于旋转多圆柱法进行MVD测量标定。根据旋转多圆柱结冰特性,对二维旋转圆柱霜状冰结冰过程进行编程计算,结合试探逼近思想编制了旋转多圆柱水滴参数分析软件。用试验实测数据与旋转多圆柱方法标定结果进行对比分析,标定结果与实测结果吻合较好,进而可实现对平均容积直径的快速测量,为冰风洞水滴参数测量校验提供技术保障。

     

    Abstract: The medium volume diameter (MVD) of droplet is one of the most basic and important parameters of an icing wind tunnel, and the accuracy of MVD measurement affects the study of icing performance of aircrafts. This paper presented a simple method for measuring water droplet diameter by laser particle size analyzer, which can be applied in small icing wind tunnels. The calibration of MVD is carried out based on rotating multi-cylinder method. According to the icing accumulation of rotating multi-cylinders, the rime ice accumulation on a two-dimension rotating cylinder is numerically simulated. In combination with successive approximation method, the software for the parameter analysis of rotating multi-cylinder measurements is programmed. Calibration results agree well with the measurements. The results indicate that the calibration method is effective for the rapid measurement of the MVD.
