Abstract:
As the basis of the research on reducing wake vortex separations, numerical simulation and constructing of fast-models for simulating wake vortex have become the focus of many international ATM research institutes. In the research field of wake vortex numerical simulation, the formation, evaluation and decay of wake vortex are calculated based on RANS, LES or DES methods. These data can help to reveal the regulation of wake vortex, and can provide basic foundation for constructing wake vortex models. In the field of fast simulation of wake vortex, Some organizations have done many theoretical researches on the formation and dissipation of wake vortex, attempting to deduce the behavioural characteristics of wake vortex by establishing complex mathematical models, including CROW instability, Greene model, APA model, TDAWP model, D2P model and the three-phase decay model, etc. The research status quo is analyzed and the key works in the next phase are also provided.
