Abstract:
The lift-increase system of aircraft is an important factor to affect the landing of the aircraft. In order to study the lift-increase effect on an aircraft with a jet from its lower surface, numerical simulation methods and structural grid are adopted to solve the Navier-Stokes equations to research on the NACA0012 airfoil and wing. The parameters of the air-blowing port are changed to study the impact of these parameters on the aerodynamic characteristics of airfoil and wing. For the airfoil, the impact of air-blowing port velocity and location on the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoil is mainly investigated; for the wing, the impact of air-blowing port spanwise distribution and velocity on the aerodynamic characteristics of the wing and energy utilization rate is mainly studied. The results show that, using blowing control can get a better aerodynamic characteristic, and the lift-effect is relatively obvious. Moreover, the effect of air-blowing control has a certain relationship with the parameters above. A basis for the jet design and the selection of jet position along the wing is provided in this study.
