Abstract:
A CFD-and-6DOF-coupled solver for multiple moving object problems is presented based on our dynamic hybrid grid technique.A sub-solver for 6-DOF equations is established firstly,and then fully integrated into the unsteady CFD solver to determine moving body dynamics.Meanwhile,the dynamic grid generator is improved to achieve better moving grid quality and more efficiency.The basic procedure of this method is as following: Firstly,the aerodynamic forces are computed by our unsteady solver at a certain time step.Secondly,the trajectory is calculated by the 6-DOF model using those aerodynamic parameters as input.Thirdly,the new grid of next time step is generated by our dynamic grid generation method.Repeating those three steps until separation finishes.This CFD-and-6DOF-coupled solver is validated by a typical store separation problem.The computational results are compared with experimental data and other numerical results in references,which demonstrate the accuracy and property for complex multiple moving object problems.
